Lake Wanoka Resort

POLICIES AND CAMPGROUND RULES

Full payment is required at the time reservations are made. If you cannot pay in full, you may make payment arrangements for your reservation. If your payments are not received on time, your reservation will be automatically cancelled. It is your responsibility to keep track of when your payments are due. Holiday weekends require a three-night minimum stay. All non holiday weekends require a two-night minimum stay.

Cancellations

A full refund will be given, minus a $20 administration fee, for cancelled reservations. To receive a refund you must cancel at least 15 days prior to your arrival date. Cancellations made less than 15 days prior to arrival date and no shows will lose their entire payment. When a guest makes a reservation for a stay at Lake Wanoka Resort and Campground, we agree to turn away all other requests for the cabin, rental unit or site you select, and you agree to pay the rate quoted for the number of days you reserve it. A small seasonal business such as ours is significantly affected by cancellations. Therefore, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy. Vacation insurance is available from several providers online to inexpensively protect you against unexpected events.

A Credit Card Security deposit required for each cabin and RV site at check in. For customers without credit cards a $200.00 cash deposit is acceptable. No personal checks accepted at camp store. Smoking not allowed inside any cabin or RV rental. Violators forfeit security deposit.

Pets are allowed in designated cabins only. Cleaning fee of $30.00 plus tax charged for a pet in any of these units. Renters are responsible for any damage their pet does. If a pet is brought into any non-pet unit, you will be charged $150.00 or more for cleaning and any damages.

Prices are for 2 adults and 2 children.  Each additional adult is $8.00 per day.  Two tents are allowed per designated tent area.  If you have a camper or are staying in a cabin and also want to pitch a tent, it may be allowed with special permission and only if there is sufficient room on the site.

We will do our best to honor your site request but we cannot guarantee a specific site.
